Polly Catherine Rebecca Bundrick Frick, child of God, entered heaven's gate on Monday, June 6, 2016, five days shy of her 91st birthday. She was a resident of The Heritage of Lowman.
Catherine was a devoted active member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, and was a Sunday School, Week Day Church School and Vacation Bible School teacher, WELC member having served as treasure. and Prime Timer's, as well as a volunteer at Lowman Home (Heritage of Lowman) for over thirty years.
Catherine is survived by her sons, Carroll L. (Virginia) Frick, Jr., Gerald Wayne (Nancy) Frick, Roger Dale Frick and daughter, Paula Michelle (Steve) Suber; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bunyon A. and Maude Cannon Bundrick and her husband of 47+ years, C. Leon Frick, Sr. and thirteen brothers and sisters. Whether you called her "Catherine", "Kafrin", "Kat", "Kitty Cat", "Mama", "Memaw", "Sister" or "Aunt Kat"…she always had a sweet smile and hug for everyone.
She worked at the GE Plant, Roddy and Dreher Meat Packing Companies, and retired from Chapin High School Cafeteria Department in 1987. She was an active care-giver for her three sisters and brother (who were all nursing home residents) for many years, as well as other residents there she helped feed and love.
Christian Services: 12:00 Noon, Saturday, June 11, 2016, the date of her 91st birthday, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 900 Dreher Island Rd., Chapin, SC, with Pastor David Tholstrup officiating, assisted by Pastor Randy Derrick, with interment following in the church cemetery.
