BILLY R. MOZINGO Billy R. Mozingo, 69, of Laurel, died Sunday, March 30, 2003, at South Central Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel. Burial will follow in Creek Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Holder and Rev. Cliff Jenkins will officiate. Mr. Mozingo was retired from ThermoKool. He was a member of Mill Creek Congregational Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Maybell Mozingo; and two brothers, John H. Mozingo and W. G. Mozingo. He is survived by his wife, Frances Mozingo of Laurel; a son, Billy Ray Mozingo; a daughter, Teresa Barney; a grandson, Derek Barney, all of Laurel; four brothers, Jack Mozingo of Mandenville, La., Troy Mozingo, Robert Mozingo, Harold Mozingo, all of Montgomery, Ala.; four sisters, Willie Mauldin and Gertrude Burnett of Ellisville, Edna Earl Brooks and Ruby Cruiseberry of Montgomery, Ala.; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held today at 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel, which is in charge of the arrangements.
