Cora Pleasant Black was the 2nd child ( of 8 ) born to Margarette ( Bottom ) and Robert Lee Black of Jefferson County, Kentucky.
'Pleasant' is indeed Cora's middle name.
At one time she was married to E.M. Bradshaw.
I am thinking that the marriage might not have been a lasting one in the fact that Cora wanted her maiden name placed on her headstone.
I did learn from another FAG'er that the Maiden Name can be used as the last name on a woman if that is what she went by when she died & that her married name does not need to be mentioned at all in her memorial unless You want to mention the marriage.
