The News (Frederick, Md.) January 29, 1962, Monday

Ralph Lee Hargett, who resided on the T. Poole Jones Road, died at his home Saturday afternoon at 2:45 o'clock, aged 50 years.

He was the son of Harvey L. and Mary Elizabeth Davis Hargett, near Frederick, and a member of the All Saints Church. He was engaged in farming for 26 years.

Surviving him are his wife, Eleanor G. Rippeon Hargett, five children, Robert L. Hargett, near Frederick; Richard E. Hargett, Mrs. Talbott S. Arnold, Miss Patsy E. Hargett and Miss Sharon L. Hargett all at home. Two brothers and one sister, Mrs. Ethel Morgan this city; Hugh D. Hargett and Martin L. Hargett Sr. near Frederick.

Four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

The body rests at the funeral home, 106 East Church street, where friends may call after seven o'clock this evening. Funeral services will take place from the funeral home, Wednesday morning at eleven o'clock. Interment in Mount Olivet cemetery. M. R. Etchison and Son, funeral directors.
