Sharon Wright Alexander, age 67, of McKinney, Texas, passed away July 30, 2012, in McKinney. Sharon was born May 2, 1945, in San Antonio, Texas, to James Gillenwaters and Hertha Ella (Schreiber) Wright. She graduated from Keystone High School in 1963 and attended Southwest Texas State University. Sharon was a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas – Alamo Heroes. She was also a member of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Prosper and Bethesda Christian Church in San Antonio.

She is survived by her sons, Matthew Alexander and wife, Stacy of McKinney, Texas, Nathaniel Alexander and wife, Deborah of Santa Fe, Texas; grandchildren, Peyton, Keegan, and Corbin Alexander, all of McKinney, Texas and Jordyn, Dylan, Brayden, and Landyn Alexander, all of Santa Fe, Texas; friends, Billy Alexander, Margaret Huth, Lana Power, Carolyn Hrncir, and Doris Boyle, all of San Antonio, Texas, and Joseph Mlinar of Wisconsin; and a host of other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Theodore and Ann Schreiber and William Crow and Julia Gober Wright.

Memorial celebrations will be held at The Grand Texan in McKinney on August 3, 2012, at 4:30 p.m. and at Bethesda in San Antonio on August 11, 2012, at 6:00 p.m.
