"Talitha was the eldest child of Nathan Nelson Graves Allen (1775-1859) and Celia Bloodworth (born 1775; died after 1850).

Nathan N.G. Allen was born in Edgecombe County, North Carolina, the son of John Rhodam "Rhody" Allen (1742-1820) and Mary Emily Ransom (1740-1807). Nathan died in Papalote, Bee County, Texas and is buried there.

Celia Bloodworth was born in Edgecombe County, North Carolina, the daughter of William Bloodworth (1741-1794) and Mildred Millicent DeLoach (1756-1803)."

NOTE: The Nelson Allen/Celia (Selah) Bloodworth marriage is in the U.S. and International Marriage Records, 1560-1900, and can be found on Ancestry.com.
