Goshen Woman's Rites Are Held In Piedmont
Mrs. L. L. Little (Mary Rudisill "Rudie" Adderhold Little), well known resident of the Goshen community near Piedmont died Sunday morning, March 18, 1951, at a Gadsden hospital. She had been ill for several weeks.
Mrs. Little spent the greater part of her life in the Goshen Community in Cherokee County. One of her sons, Prof. Frank J. Little, is supervisor of instruction for Calhoun County schools, and all her children and a number of grandchildren have been identified with the field of education in this area.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, March 19 at Piedmont First Baptist Church with Rev. Mr. Pruett and Rev. Mr. Stevenson officiating. Burial was in Goshen Cemetery.
Survivors include five sons, H. Worth Little of Anniston, Frank J. Little of Alexandria, W. L. Little of Centre, and J. L. Little and J. R. Little, both of Piedmont; two daughters, Mrs. W. A. Ellis (Linnie) of Centre and Mrs. J. P. North (Winnie) of Talladega; and a number of grandchildren. Mrs. Little was preceded in death by her husband, Loyd Lee Little.
