John A. Dvorsky, of Cranberry, formerly of the North Side, died Friday, Sept. 12, 2008. Husband of the late Mary (Gonchar) Dvorsky; father of Judy Dvorsky and the late J.P. Dvorsky and Gerard Dvorsky; grandfather of Aaron Doubt, John and Joshua Dvorsky. John was an Army veteran of World War II in the 213th Regiment of the Coast Artillery Brigade, an anti-aircraft division of the Army, from 1941 to 1945. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME OF CRANBERRY, 2678 Rochester Road, 724-772-8880. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Ferdinand Church.
