The News-Herald, Monday, Aug 27 1973:
Harry C. Denzin, 86, of 574 East End Ave., Pittsburgh, died at 2:35 a.m. today in Columbia Hospital, Wilkinsburg.

He was a frequent visitor in Franklin at the home of his step-daughter, Mrs. Chester T. (Jean) Anders. He was a native of Pittsburgh and was retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Highways, where he worked as a test engineer for many years. He belonged to the Waverly Presbyterian Church.

His first wife, the former Catherine Janet Sandieson, died July 23, 1957. In 1958 he married Ethel Brubaker, of Franklin, and she survives, along with Mrs. Anders and two step-granddaughters, Mrs. Russell (Janet) Byder, of Canton, Ohio, and Mrs Russell (Elizabeth) Mitchell, of Clendenin, WV.

Services will be from the Cooke Funeral Home Pittsburgh, with Rev. John J. Waldenbach of the Waverly Church, officiating. Committal services will held in the Chapel at the Franklin Cemetery. Interment will follow in the cemetery. Local arrangements are in charge of the Frank S. Huff Chapel.
