Richard (Dick) Machiele, aged 80, of Zeeland, died Saturday at his home. He was an extension director with Michigan State University for 30 years in Kent and Ottawa County.
Funeral services will be held 11 am Tuesday at the Peace Reformed Church with Rev. Henry Stegenga officiating. Burial in Borculo Cemetery. Calling hours at the Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State St., Zeeland are Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
Memorials may be made to Words of Hope or to the Peace Reformed Church Organ Fund.
