SUNSET - Funeral services for John Charles Guidry, 39, of Sunset were held at 10 a.m. today in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Grand Coteau. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Lafond and Son Funeral Home of Opelousas. Mr. Guidry died at 3:15 p.m. Monday in a New Orleans hospital. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was a carpenter. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Guidry of Sunset and one brother, Calvin Guidry of Lafayette.
