Nona Lois Sparks, 76, Rt 1, Cainsville, of the Saline Community, died Tuesday, Aug 20, 1985, at Mercer Hospital in Des Moines.

She was born in Mercer County on July 30, 1909, a daughter of James and Gertrude (Brenizer) Wishon.

Mrs. Sparks was married to Lloyd Albert Sparks on June 6, 1969. She was a member of the former Saline Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her husband, Lloyd, of the home; one daughter, Mary Lois Hamilton, Dec Moines; two brothers, Rev Bill Wishon and Junior Wishon, both of Boring, Ore; several grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Mrs Sparks was proceded in death by one daughter, Betty Jean Johnson; two grandchildren; one brother and one sister.

Funeral Services were held Saturday, Aug 24, at 1 p.m. at the Greenlee-Middleton Funeral Chapel in Princeton with the Rev Bill Wishon officiating. Burial was in the Miller Cemetery, north of Cainsville.
