Mrs. Susan Fluhart Bundick, 56, wife of the late Carroll O. Bundick, Jr. and a resident of Hopeton, VA passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2006, at her residence. Born on December 21, 1949, and raised on the Eastern Shore, Mrs. Bundick was the daughter of the late William Fluhart and Susie Margaret Isdell Fluhart. She was married to Carroll O. Bundick, Jr. on March 8, 1969 and was a homemaker. Susan was a strong mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother, always willing to help. She saw joy in things that most take for granted and will be greatly missed. She is survived by two children, Anjanette "Anjee" Ritchie of New Castle, Delaware and Tonya S. Bundick of Parksley, VA; five grandchildren, James, Charlie, and Danielle Ritchie, all of New Castle; and Zachary and Brandon Bundick of Parksley; two sisters, Lucille Fought of Exmore, VA and Elizabeth Widgeon of Eastville, VA and a brother, Dorsey Fluhart of Quinby, VA. She was predeceased by her husband Carroll in December 1992. Funeral services conducted from the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home on Sunday, October 29, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Quinby Cemetery. There will be a visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 870 Greenbrier Circle, Greenbrier Suite 404, Chesapeake, VA 23417 or to the American Lung Association, 5349 East Princess Anne Road, Norfolk, VA 23502.
