RITES HELD FOR D R AMSUTZ 54
Dillman R Amstutz 54 died Monday ( Aug, 26, 1957) at Watonga hospital following a heart attack.
Funeral service was held at 10 am today August 29 1957 at First Christian church of Geary with Rev Jerry Housh officiating. Burial was made at Geary Cemetery under the direction of Turner Funeral home.
Dillman Ray Amstutz son of John and Susan Amstutz was born March 5 1903 at Geary. He resided in the community all of his life with the exception of six years spent in Oregon.
Mr Amstutz was married to Esther Moore on December 26, 1929, at Kingfisher He was an active member of the First Christian church of Geary for many years. At the time of his death, he was a member of the board of deacons of his church and was church treasurer. Survivors Include the widow a daughter Jane Ellen Hernden, Oklahoma City; three brothers Earl and Harve both of Geary, Milo Tulsa; four sisters Pearl Coil Geary, Lydia Funck El Reno, Elma Payne Oklahoma City and Nora Peters, Hollywood Calif, an infant granddaughter and many other relatives and friends.
