Mary "Imogene" Lee died Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at her Murphysboro, Illinois residence. She was 83.
She was born in Murphysboro on February 11, 1932, the daughter of Raymond and Margaret Gill Weston.
She married Erwin Ehlers on May 5, 1950. Mary and Erwin had six children, five of whom are living. She later married Herman Lee, Jr. Mary and Herman had three children.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Ehlers of Grand Tower and Gary Lee of Saint Lucie, Florida; six daughters, Margaret Quigley of Murphysboro, Mrs. Marsha Burris of Carbondale, Mrs. Cindy Boester, Mrs. Linda Spradling, and Mrs. Linda Hernandez, all of Murphysboro, and Nancy Lee of Dallas, Texas; 23 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren with one on the way; one sister, Mrs. Louise Mileur of Murphysboro; two sisters-in-law, Betty Weston of West Plains, Missouri and Carolyn Lee of Murphysboro; three brothers-in-law, Bill Johnson, Sparty Lee and Russell Stearns, who was also a special friend, all of Murphysboro; and her best friends, Fern Hankins and Flossie Homan of Murphysboro.
She was preceded in death by both of her husbands; one daughter, Gloria Jean Ehlers; three sisters, Thelma Peak Thompson, Elaine Johnson and one sister in infancy, Bonnie Weston; two brothers, Dale Weston and Vern Weston; and her parents.
Burial in Pleasant Grove Memorial Park.
