Mrs. Bettye Marie Storum,94, of Oakland Park, FL and formally of Melbourne, FL died on Wednesday, at her home with her son, Bill by her side. She was married to the late Richard R. Storum where he served as Deacon in the Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne.She was a homemaker all of her life but that did not stop her from countless hours of community service. She was very proud to be very active and involved at the Ascension Catholic Church where she also volunteered at the school library; 20 year volunteer with meals on wheels in Brevard County; and was an avid bridge player. Survived by sons, William and Douglas Storum; daughters, JoAnn Hanley and Susan Grahame; granddaughter, Morgan Grahame. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 30, 2016 from 6-7 at Kalis-McIntee Funeral Home,Wilton Manors, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church at 10:00am, where she attended for the last 8 years with her son, Bill. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Florida National Cemetery.
