He was born November 28, 1906, at Lindsay, Oklahoma, and died August 21 in the Drumright Hospital.

He and the former Cora Evelyn Poole were married November 14, 1942, at Alliance, Nebraska.

He is retired from the oil field, having worked for Drumright Well Service and Lease Service in the past. He was a member of the Church of God of Apostolic Faith.

Survivors include his wife Cora of the home; son Thurman; daughter Jean; sister Eddie; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Nelson Lee Clement, Oilton, were held August 23 in the Chapel of the Bailes Funeral Home. The Rev. Loyd Robertson officiated, he was assisted by Jimmy L. West. Interment was in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Oilton.

Funeral services were under the direction of the Bailes Funeral Home.
