Loving husband of Dorothy. Loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is missed more than anyone could know. He ran his own company, Holliday Lock and Door, in Houston and did work for NASA, the city of Houston, the Medical Center downtown Houston, the TV channels 13, 2 and 11 in Houston and many chain restraunts, Banks and stores in Houston just to mention a few. He kept his business till he was diagnosed with Multiple Myloma and could no longer work. He was a kind and giving man. He would help anyone needing help. A family once was out of gas and money, and had small children. They lived out of state and was at a gas station we stopped at. The man asked dad for some money to get them home and even showed dad his drivers license. Dad went and bought food for the whole family, filled the tank up and gave the man a couple a hundred dollars cash. The man got our address and said he would pay dad back and dad told him not to worry about it. About a year or so later, dad recieved a letter in the mail, it was from this man thanking dad and the money dad spent and gave them was all there.
This is the kind of man my dad was. He will forever stay that man!
