Lynne Ann Graves, of Palisade, MN and formerly of Faribault, passed away unexpectedly at her home; she was 57 years of age.
Lynne Ann, the daughter of Jerome and Leatrice (Edel) Malecha, was born on August 17, 1958 in New Prague, MN. She attended Bethlehem Academy High School and graduated with the class of 1976. She was married on September 17, 1977 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Faribault. Lynne attended South Central Technical College twice over her working career and earned degrees in Mechanical Drafting and Micro Computer Support. Lynne was a department coordinator at Blount Corporation in Owatonna and later worked as an Area Coordinator for Josten’s. In 2008 they moved to Palisade, MN and Lynne worked for the State of Minnesota Department of Agriculture trapping Gypsy Moths and the Palisade CO-OP. Most recently she was the Administrator at the Holy Family Catholic Church in McGregor, MN. Lynne cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. In Faribault, Lynne was the Regent for the Daughters of Isabella and a member of the Divine Mercy Catholic Church CCW. She loved being outdoors, watching birds, and fishing; she also played a very competitive game of cribbage. Lynne enjoyed her pen pal group, sending of letters and gifts to one another.
She is survived by her husband of Palisade, MN; her daughter, Amanda of Faribault, MN; two grandsons, and a granddaughter on the way; her mother, three siblings, by other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerome Malecha and three siblings, Linda Ann Malecha and two infants at birth. Mass of Christian Burial will be held June 1, 2016, Divine Mercy Catholic Church, Faribault.
