Age 91 of Blades, DE died Friday, December 23, 2005, at Genesis Elder Care in Seaford.
Born in Delmar, DE, the daughter of the late Minnie and Willie Wilson, she was a seamstress at the former Walkers Garment Company. She was a member of Blades United Methodist Church where she was active in the Methodist Women.
She is survived by a sister, Nellie Farlow of Salisbury, MD; a grandson, Jordon Adkins; a sister-in-law, Anita Adkins of New Haven, CT; nieces; and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl H. Adkins, in 1958; a son, Charles F. Adkins; 2 brothers, Ernest and Louis Wilson; and 2 sisters, Bertha W Layfield and Mildred W. Owens.
A service will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2005, at 2 pm at WATSON-YATES FUNERAL HOME, Front and King Streets, Seaford, DE, where friends may call from 1-2 pm prior to the service. Reverend Paul Issacs will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Seaford, DE.
