"CHILLICOTHE, Mo. -- Raymond Edward Boley, 76, Chillicothe, died Tuesday, April 9, 1996, at a Kansas City hospital.

Mr. Boley, born in Sumner, Mo., on May 14, 1919, retired from the city of Chillicothe. He had lived most of his life in Chillicothe and attended the Sumner Rural School. In 1960, he married Jeannette J. Leverence in Chillicothe. She is deceased.

Mr. Boley also was preceded in death by a son, Carl J.; a sister, Nellie Webb; and eight brothers.

Surviving are two sons, Richard L. of Jefferson City and Bill J. of Chillicothe; two daughters, Gladys I. Edwards of Wye, Arkansas and Mary S. Jones of Wheeling, Mo.; a brother, Junior of Chillicothe; three sisters, Mildred Osgood of Chillicothe, Opal Bloss of Brookfield, Mo., and Grace Shelton of Effingham, Kan.; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Graveside services and burial will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Hutchison Cemetery, Chillicothe." St Joseph News-Press, April 11, 1996
