Jack was born in Henry County, GA on November 4, 1923 to the late Marvin Kellett and Mattie Mae Babb.
He served our country in the United States Navy. He was a retired Capitan for the Chattanooga Fire Department. He was also a retired plumber and steam fitter and recently worked for Enterprise Car Rental as a driver.
He was preceded in death by his sister Nancy Sue Williamson.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Hilda Hunt Babb; son Jack Kellett (Susan) Babb; two grandchildren, Derek Edward Babb and Jackson Kellett Babb all of Chattanooga and a step-daughter Sherry Williams, along with several great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN.
