Ellen J. Sagan (Heath) passed peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. She was predeceased by her parents, Guvarie S. and Anna B. Heath; her sister, Janie Crotsley; brother, Dwayne Heath and her husband, Nicholas Sagan. She is survived by her family; her sons, Frank and Judy Sagan, Gerald Sagan and Joseph and Eileen Sagan; grandchildren; Nicholas and Gabe, Rachel and Phillip and her great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She retired from Lourdes Hospital after 25 years of service in many areas but she especially loved the nursery most. Mom loved her garden and prized collection of bears. The family wishes to thank the staff personnel in the Infusion and Oncology Departments and a special heartfelt thank you to all the Hospice Staff for their wonderful care of our mother in the past year. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc. 150 Main Street, Johnson City. The family will receive family and friends from 9am until the time of the service. Burial will be in Holy Spirit Cemetery.
