Franklin News-Herald, Wednesday, Jan 29 1902:
James N. Craft, the victim of the railroad accident at Struthers Saturday, died at his home in Warren Tuesday evening as a result of his injuries, never having regained consciousness. He was born in Brownsville, PA, 54 years ago, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elijah Craft of Brownsville.

He came to Franklin in 1871 and accepted the position of teller in the International Bank under the late Col. James Bleakley, and worked there about 8 years, resigning to accept the position of cashier on the Exchange Bank, Franklin. A few years later he moved to cashier of the Ramage Refinery, and later to cashier with the Crew, Levick Company of Warren, which includes the Seaboard Oil Co., the Muir Oil Works, Glade Oil Works, and Warren Gasolene Works, where he worked until his death. He was well known throughout the oil region as a thorough business man.
