Julie was born July 7, 1933 in Bismarck, North Dakota to Conrad and Elizabeth (Schmultz) Wingerter, the youngest of thirteen. She was raised and educated in Yakima, WA where she graduated from St. Joseph Academy, class of 1951. She met her future husband at a Marquette High School dance and married Bernard “Dusty” Lynn Robillard on September 27, 1952 in St. Paul Cathedral in Yakima.
She retired from the Yakima School District as a secretary, having worked at the Administration office and Eisenhower High School.
Julie was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Molly. Having been a two time breast cancer survivor, Julie volunteered many years at North Star Lodge and the cancer Discovery Shop.
Survivors include her children and their spouses: Paula (Murray) Slaye and Richard (Marilyn) Robillard, all of Yakima, Lynne Robillard (Tom McCullough) of Renton, Doug (Cheryl) Robillard of Maple Valley and Mark (Mandi) Robillard of Buckley; also three grandchildren, Patti Slaye of Port Orchard, Rick (Jennifer) Robillard of Long Beach, CA and Michelle (Josh) Montgomery of Cowiche; and five great-grandchildren, Josh, Justin, Ashlyn, Brett and Samuel. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dusty Robillard on February 7, 2014 and twelve brothers and sisters.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held at Holy Family Catholic Church.
