C. W. "Pete" Booher, 86, of Bristol, TN passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born in Bristol, VA on November 19, 1929, a son of the late Charles Delaney Booher and Dorothy Poole Booher.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pansy Cole Booher and numerous brothers and sisters.
He retired as a Captain with the Bristol, TN Police Department where he served for 37 years. He was a founding member of Rosemont Presbyterian Church where he, at one time, held the offices of treasurer and deacon. He was a member with Anderson Chapter No. 141 Masonic Lodge for 50 years.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services, 417 Lee St., Bristol, VA. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Mountain View Cemetery with the Reverend Alan Chapman officiating.
