In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Pansy Cole Booher and numerous brothers and sisters.
He retired as a Captain with the Bristol, TN Police Department where he served for 37 years. He was a founding member of Rosemont Presbyterian Church where he, at one time, held the offices of treasurer and deacon. He was a member with Anderson Chapter No. 141 Masonic Lodge for 50 years.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services, 417 Lee St., Bristol, VA. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Mountain View Cemetery with the Reverend Alan Chapman officiating.
