She married William N Gangwer in Clinton County in 1893.

Mrs. Orpha Gangwer, 74, widow of William Gangwer, died last Friday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Will Clark, in Danville, Ill. She was the daughter of Allen and Louise Samuels Troxel. Another daughter, Mrs. Faye Biery of Indianapolis, survives; also three sisters, Mrs. Ira Metzger of Rossville, Mrs. Ezra Neher of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Roy Krammes of Frankfort, and a brother, Emerson Troxel, of Frankfort. She was one of nine sisters, five having preceded her in death; Mrs. Isaac
Gochenour; the first Mrs. Peter J. Beisel; the first Mrs. Grant Shaw; Mrs. Paul Yundt and Mrs. Lloyd House.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gangwer were held in Frankfort Sunday afternoon and burial was in Bunnell cemetery.
