Mr. Robert Lee Pettie, 74, of Kosciusko, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held at 1 pm Wednesday, May 25th at Culpepper Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10 am prior to services. Rev. Danny Townsend will officiate.

Mr. Pettie was a member of Green Rock Baptist Church. He retired from John Deere where he was a Harvester and Assembler.

He is preceded in death by parents, Joe and Beatrice Walter Pettie; brothers, James and Clyde; sisters, Leo and Helen.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Florence Threet Pettie; son, Dan (Libbie) Pettie; daughter, Sharron (Chris) Merrill; brothers, Charles Pettie and Tommy Pettie; sister, Mary Murphy; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Ingram, Stacey Steen, Brad Threet, Danny Pettie, Jr., Brian Thompson and Ken Adcock. Honorary Pallbearers are Ray Sprouse, Dave Finch, Doug Rumly, Mike VanDewoesteyne, Bill Pinrod, Chuck Hotwood and Ollen Stephens.
