FULLER, RICHARD C., 86, of Louisville, entered into rest on Thursday, November 15, 2012. He was employed as a photographer for the Courier Journal for 32 years, was an active member of Buechel Park Baptist Church and served his country during World War II in the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Edna Fuller; and a son, Mark Fuller.

Richard is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Fuller and Jennie Woods; and three granddaughters, Nicki Mattingly, Jamie Fuller and Jessica Woods who affectionately called him "Pappy".

His sense of humor, kindness and quick smile drew people to him, and he never met a stranger. He spent his life serving family, friends and neighbors and will be missed greatly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

His Celebration of Life Service will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 19, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 and 5-7 p.m. Sunday.
