Henry E. Borger, 83, of Parryville, died Monday, Dec. 3, in his home. He was the husband of Dorothy M. (Remaley) Borger. They were married for 63 years in October.
He was employed as a runoff operator for the former New Jersey Zinc Co., Palmerton, for 43 years before retiring in 1980.
Born in Little Gap, he was a son of the late John and Nora (Daneker) Borger.
He was a life member of Bowmanstown Rod and Gun Club and Bowmanstown Fire Company.
Survivors: Wife; sons, Richard and John, both of Parryville, Robert of Lehighton; daughters, Nancy of Bowmanstown, Joan Blose and Mary Sherer, both of Parryville, Anna Smith of Palmerton, Susan Strohl of Lehighton, Debra Plotsko of Slatington; brother, Kenneth of Pennsville; sisters, Ruth Holtzer of Walnutport, Kathryn Strohl of Danielsville; 21 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren.
