Survivors include his wife, Linda Ellis Austin, whom he married February 28, 1970; a son, Jeff (and Tammy) Austin of Bowling Green; two grandchildren, Hailey Beth and Mackenzie Austin; a brother, Roger Austin of Liberty; and many loving and caring friends.
Funeral services are 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Patton officiating. "D.A." Austin will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation is Monday, May 23, 2016 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home from 5:00-9:00 P.M. and will continue Tuesday from 8:00 A.M. until funeral service. Pallbearers are Gary Terry, Randy Dalton, Doug Johnson, Doug Ellis, David Grider, and Ronnie Tapscott. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Gideon Bibles or the American Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
