Georgia Phyllis Koke, 87, of Kilbourne, passed away at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, May 23, 2016 at Em’s Haven of Rest in Havana. She was born December 23, 1928 in Petersburg, IL to George and Lillian (Hardwick) Adlington. She married Floyd Koke on August 23, 1951 in Springfield.
Mrs. Koke is survived by her husband, Floyd, of Kilbourne, five children: John (Karen) Koke of Nebraska, Beverly (Tom) Berberet of Havana, Lillian (Ross) Wurth of Easton, Mary (Rodney) Olson of Plano, IL, Gisele (Danny) Hamm of Macomb, IL, five grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John Adlington.
Mrs. Koke was a member of the Havana Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School for many years.
Funeral services will be held at the Havana Church of Christ on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow the services at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Rev. Bill Boyce will officiate.
