Bill Anglin was born to the late Levi and Purnie Pearl (Creekmore) Anglin, March 21, 1931 at Jenks, Oklahoma. Following a period of failing health, Bill passed from life to life everlasting Sunday, May 22, 2016 from his Ardmore residence at the age of 85 years, 2months and 1 day.

Bill was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator, having worked with the Josephine County Road department in Oregon.

Bill and the former Judy Ann Tibbs were married January 29, 1972 at Stockton, California and moved to Ardmore in the late 1970's from Oregon. They celebrated their 44th Wedding Anniversary earlier this year.

Of Christian faith, Bill was a devoted foster parent. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking in his leisure time.

His first wife, Edna Lowry Anglin and a brother, Willard Anglin, preceded him in death.

Bill is survived by his loving wife, Judy Anglin of the home; two daughters, Dee Anna Shackelford and Shelia Latimer; a son, Steven Anglin; thirty-five foster children; four sisters, Betty Denton, Ruby Haney, Lena Wilson Schnell and Reba Posey; his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson.

Graveside rites officiated by Rev. Joseph Mays and Rev. Johnny Mays will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May, 25, 2016, at the Mannsville Cemetery.
