Delbert Cuevas, 56 of Kiln died Friday, May 20, 2016 in Kiln.
Mr. Cuevas was born and lived in Hancock County. He worked at Alcan Cable in Bay St. Louis, as a machinist, for 21 ½ years. He was currently retired. Mr. Cuevas was a hard worker all his life, a loving father, he enjoyed time with his family, and he was a great friend.
Mr. Cuevas was preceded in death by his parents Donovan “Boss Man” Cuevas and Barbara Ann Cuevas, brothers Donald Ray Cuevas and Donald Wayne Cuevas, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a lifelong best friend, Randy L. Necaise.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, (LIVING) Cuevas of Kiln; his daughters, (LIVING) ((LIVING)) Morgan, (LIVING)((LIVING))Burley, his son (LIVING) Cuevas, his grandchildren (LIVING) Morgan, Jr., (LIVING) Morgan, (LIVING) Johnson, (LIVING) Johnson, (LIVING) Burley, and (LIVING) Burley, all of Dedeaux Community; his brothers (LIVING) Cuevas, (LIVING(LIVING)) Cuevas, (LIVING)((LIVING)) Cuevas, his sisters (LIVING) ((LIVING)) Ellingson, (LIVING) Whitfield, all of Dedeaux Community and a step-sister (LIVING) Saucier ((LIVING)) from Long Beach; an aunt, an uncle, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Wolf Creek Baptist Church. The funeral will be at 2:00 on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the church. Interment will be at Standard Sand Hill Cemetery.
