ARIANA CELESTE GAYLORD-STRIBLING was born on 6 November 1870 & Baptised on 4 March 1871 in Victoria, Victoria County, Texas to Edward Henry Gaylord & Cornelia Beatrice Milton-Gaylord.

Mr James cites articles printed in the San Antonio Light from 14 & 25 April 1891 in his book (7), regarding a description of the First Battle of Flowers Parade for San Jacinto Day, and that Celeste & her sister Lola Gaylord were among the Beaux and Belles of the Elegant Eighties for the annual parade.

Celeste first married Frank Murfee Morrow, and they had ONE son of record:

William Leigh Morrow (1892 - 1946).

After Mr Morrow passed away, Celeste married Benjamin "Ben" Alexander Stribling on 12 January 1901 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas, and they had TWO daughters of record:

Beatrice Stribling-Dance (1902 - 1974) &
Eleanor Stribling-Capers (1903 - 1985).

Celeste passed away on 7 June 1939 in New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana, and she was laid to rest in the family plot at San Antonio City Cemetery #1 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.
