MILTON — Ida Catherine "Kaye" Savoy, 78, of McMullen Road died peacefully Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, at her home in Milton following a long illness. Catherine was born April 17, 1923, in North Williston, the daughter of the late John and Louise Muir Picard.

June 15, 1941, she married Arthur J. Savoy in Mendon. Following their marriage, they moved to Milton, where they raised their family. She was a member of American Legion Post 57 Auxiliary in Milton. Kaye was a person very concerned with, and committed to, her family.

She will be truly missed by those who knew her. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Ronald and Lorraine Savoy of Ridgecrest, Calif., Roy and Nancy Savoy of Proctorsville, Nancy and Phillippe Ferland of Colchester, Donna Savoy and her companion, Willard Jocelyn, of Lowell, John and Joann Savoy of Milton, Duane Savoy of Berkshire, Diane and Lanford Hibbard of Milton, and Joni and Gerald Sawyer of Milton; 24 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Harris Picard of Grand Isle and Donald Picard of Shelburne.

Burial will be held in the spring in Milton Village Cemetery.
