McCURLEY RITES SET FRIDAY

Agnel Gaddy McCurley, 89, Valliant, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at McCurtain Memorial Hospital, Idabel.

She was born Jan. 14, 1911, at Cut Hand, Texas, the daughter of George and Anna Lee Blissard.

She was a homemaker, a member of Oak Grove Landmark Missionary Baptist Church, Broken Bow, and had lived in this area most of her life. She enjoyed quilting and gardening, and loved her family.

Agnel was preceded in death by one daughter, Dorothy Stuart, in 1996; her husband, Murl Gaddy, in 1980; and four sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memory one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Malacha Gaddy, Valliant; a son-in-law, John Stuart, Broken Bow; three brothers, Wesley Blissard, Broken Bow, Samuel Blissard, Humbolt, Tenn., and Willie Blissard, Osage, Wyo.; five grandchildren, Tim and Renee Stuart, Broken Bow, Jim Stuart, Independence, Mo., Christi Stuart, Broken Bow, Mike and Bobbie Welch, Austin, Texas, and Elizabeth and Mike Baldwin, Tulsa; nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 15, at Oak Grove Landmark Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Greg Curtis officiating.

Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery, Broken Bow.
