Leslie George Lossing,
84, of Grant Township, Michigan died Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at home.
He was born August 17, 1931, in Fargo, Michigan the son of the late Amos and Irene (Boyde) Lossing.
His marriage to Lillian Marie Bloomfield was August 26, 1950, in Cash, MI.
Leslie was a lifelong area resident and farmer. He was employed by United Technology, Port Huron as a machine operator for 15 years and for the former St. Clair Rubber Company for 30 years until his retirement in 1991. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife Lillian of 65 years are eight children, Andrew of Flint, Blake (Jayne) of FL, Mark (Kathy) of HI, David (Nancy) of Kenockee Township, Wade (Patricia) of Avoca, Robert (Sue) of Grant Twp., Deborah (Robert) Cesefske of Grant Township and Steven (Vicky) of Grant Township; 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Harriot, Florence and Donna and several nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandson Mark Lossing II, brothers, Homer and Donald, and a sister, Ilene.
The family honors the memory of Leslie and invite you to visit and share memories Wednesday, May 25, 2016, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Yale, with memorial services to follow at 7:00 p.m. Max Amstutz, chaplain of McLaren Port Huron Hospital, will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to “Grace Hospice”.
