Larry was born October 7, 1960 in Blackfoot, Idaho to Bill Curtis and NeAnne Hales. He was a lifetime resident of Blackfoot, attending Groveland Elementary and graduating from Blackfoot High School and from Idaho State University with a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science.
When Larry was 21 years old, he was in a car accident, leaving him a quadriplegic.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served for many years in the Elders Quorum, he was also in charge of the ward bulletin and news letter. He loved working at the Family History Center.
When he was younger, he loved hunting, fishing and helping his dad with horses. Larry enjoyed music, technology, horse races with his family, reading scriptures, working on computers, watching movies and loved being with his mother.
Larry is survived by his mother, NeAnne; and brother, Bradley both of Blackfoot, Idaho.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bill D. Curtis, brother, Randy Ray Curtis and two sisters, Debra and Darcy Curtis.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the Riverton LDS Church, 701 West 300 South in Blackfoot. Family will meet with friends and relatives from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Hawker Funeral Home.
