Funeral services for Morris Edward "Curly" Bartlett, 77, 301 S. Broadway, were held Wednesday, December 26, at Sellergren Funeral Home with Rev. Orval Roach officiating and burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
A Red Oak resident most of his life, where he had been an electrician and TV repairman, he died Monday, July 24, at Murphy Memorial Hospital after an illness of six months.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Bartlett, he was born at Council Bluffs, June 21, 1890 and was married in 1907 to May Catherine Schmidt, who died in 1963.
Survive are four daughters, Mrs. Ivan Briggs, Mrs. Russell Black, and Mrs. James Riggle, all of Red Oak, and Mrs. George Wright, Imogene; 24 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.
