Angela Carol Ball Bussell, 45, of Flemingsburg, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016, at her home after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
She was born January 30, 1971, in Flemingsburg to the late Dallas and Ruth Imogene Carpenter Ball.
Angela worked as a dispatcher for Fleming Mason Energy for the past 8 years. Previously she was a bookkeeper / payroll clerk for Fleming County Board of Education for 12 years. She was member of the Flemingsburg Baptist Church.
Angela is survived by her husband, Brendan Bussell; son, Dylan Bussell; siblings, James Ball (Helen Gallagher) of Lexington, Judy (Charles) Whisman of Hillsboro, Brenda Smith and Ruthie (Tim) Cooper both of Flemingsburg; brothers-in-law, Ethan Bussell, James Patrick (Melanie) Bussell; father-in-law, Rick Bussell; aunts, Ethelene Story and Linda Flora; uncle, Wayne (Helen) Carpenter; special aunt and caregiver, Faye (Noah) Logan and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a mother-in-law, Gwen Bussell; and a nephew, Danny Whisman.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, May 20, 2016, at Flemingsburg Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Brown officiating.
Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park (Maysville Rd, Flemingsburg, Ky).
Pallbearers will be Steve Harn, William Jackson, Kent Stanfield, Jamie Hawkins, Joey Porter, and Carey Grannis. Honorary pallbearers will be Fleming Mason Energy employees.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m., Thursday, May 19, 2016, at the Flemingsburg Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cancer Care Club (P. O. Box 189, Flemingsburg, Ky 41041), Flemingsburg Baptist Church (1856 Elizaville Rd., Flemingsburg, Ky 41041) and Hospice of Hope (909 Kenton Station Dr., Maysville, Ky 41056).
