Frederick Omer Baker, 77, of Frankfort, IN, died at 8:20 a.m. May 17, 2016 at his home.

Born June 16, 1938 in Kokomo, IN to the late William Ted & Velva B. (Cardwell) Baker. He married Glenda Leach on May 26, 1962 in Colfax and she survives.

Mr. Baker attended Frankfort School. He worked at Chrysler in Kokomo for 30 years, retiring in April 1987. He also worked part time at Stillwell Monuments. Mr. Baker attended Victory Chapel. He enjoyed antique cars.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Baker of Frankfort; Son, Frederick Paul Baker (Companion Norma Rowell) of rural Frankfort; 2 Daughters, Pamela (Ron) Wolfe of rural Frankfort, Melinda (James) Emswiller of Frankfort; 1 Brother, Richard Baker of West Lafayette; Brother-in-law, Toby (Marilyn) Leach of Frankfort, who was raised in the Baker home; and 1 Granddaughter, Allison โ€œAliโ€ Emswiller.

Preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Baker Sr. and Harold Baker.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2016 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main St., Frankfort. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery at a later date.
