HARRY E. PUCKETT, LIFELONG
COUNTY RESIDENT, DIES
Harry Everett Puckett,74, Winchester, route 1, died Tuesday at his home following an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Randolph county,Mr. Puckett was a retired farmer.
Survivors included the widow, Marguerite, five daughters, Mrs. Noel Carpenter of Union City, Mrs. Charles Rowland, of Bremerton, Wash., Mrs. Leoanrd Abrams of Hamilton, O., Mrs. Dallon Cox of Anderson and Mrs. Woodrow Stiles of Indianapolis; one son, John Robert Puckett of Lakeside, Calif.; three stepsons, Vern Addington of Anderson and Joseph and Murray Addington of Winchester; four brothers, Hermie of Winchester, Troy of Greenville, O., Carlton of Muncie and Mroton of Richmond, and one sister, Mrs. Mary Kirby of Winchester.
Services will be conducted for Mr. Puckett of Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Buena Vista Congregational Christan church, with the Rev. Zelma Mills officiating. Burial will be in the Buena Vista cemetery.
Friends may call at the Maynard and Walker funeral home, Winchester, after 7:15 p.m. Wednesday and until 9 p.m. Thursday, and at the church for one hour before the state of the services on Friday.
