Carl Whitaker died March 24, 2000 due to complications during a surgical procedure. He took his last trip to the big truck stop in the sky.
Carl was born in Twin Falls, Idaho, May 8, 1932 to Henry and Blanch Whitaker. Carl lead a varied life, spending the last 33 years with his wife, Gloria Whitaker. He loved big trucks and retired as a teamsters.
He is survived by his wife Gloria (Jude) Whitaker; 12 paternal children, three step-children, 36 grandchildren, six great-grand-children, sisters, Juanita Bryant, and Marian Boelter. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Archibald Whitaker and Blanch Cheryl Lowe Whitaker; first child, Buster; sister, Vera; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 30, 2000, at 11 a.m. in the Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road. Friends may call Wednesday, March 29, 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the Services on Thursday at the Mortuary.
