Lester Thomas "L.T." Bain, 97, of Lawrenceburg, died Saturday, January 10, 2009 at Harrodsburg Healthcare Center. He was born November 15, 1911 in Anderson County and was the son of the late Minnie Way and John Willis Bain and husband of the late Beulah Wooldridge Bain. Mr. Bain was a member of the Presbyterian Faith and a retired farmer.

He is survived by: one daughter, Patsy Bain of Lawrenceburg; one son, John William Bain of Mt. Eden; three grandchildren, Deborah Reinscheld, John Mark Bain, and Melissa Eichhorn, and five great-grandchildren, Tyler Reinscheld, Kyle Reinscheld, Coty Bain, Mason Eichhorn, and Claire Eichhorn; one sister Jennie Thurman of Frankfort.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Wallace Parido, Louise Nicholson, Birdie Beck, Betty Sauer, and a brother, Gus Bain.

Funeral service was conducted Tuesday, January 13, at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg, with Bro. Burt Paden officiating. Burial was in Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Casket bearers were John Mark Bain, Coty Bain, and Dale Reinscheld, Tyler Reinscheld, Kyle Reinscheld and Gregg Eichhorn. Honorary Casket bearers were John Allen, Viron Stratton, Harold Cornish, Bill Spencer, Timmy Thurman and James Shryock. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass 208 Steele Street Frankfort, KY 40601.
