Albert Helfenstine Ebersol is the son of Joseph Ebersole and Elizabeth Shuey.

He married Celia A Pearre on 31 Dec 1872 in La Salle, Illinois.

He was 28 years old when he joined the military on 2 Aug 1861 during the Civil War. He served as a private in Company E, 26th Illinois Infantry in the years 1861-1865,

FORMER RESIDENT DIES

Albert H. Ebersol Passes Away at His Home in Chicago
(From Thursday's Daily.)

Albert H. Ebersol, for many years a resident of this city and vicinity, died yesterday at his home in Chicago. He was born September 27, 1832, and came here with his parents in 1834. His father was Joseph Ebersol.

Mr. Ebersol grew to manhood near this city, and served during the war in the union army. He was one of the charter members of Seth C. Earl Post, G. A. R., of this city. Of late years he has resided in Chicago.

He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. John Riggeman.

The funeral services will be held in Chicago at 11 a.m. tomorrow. The remains will be brought here in the afternoon and the burial will be in Ottawa avenue cemetery. The Grand Army will escort the remains to the cemetery and have charge of the services there.
