Abijah W. Barnum died in Geneva last Sunday, aged 82, and was buried in the McNeil Cemetery Tuesday afternoon. He was born in the town of Ovid in 1815, at what is now known as Barnum's corners, two miles east of Ovid village, and for many years was a resident of Ovid. Of the large family of children nine are yet living, but we believe Weed and Mrs. E. A. Rumsey, who live at Seneca Falls, are the only ones in this county, the others being scattered in various parts of the United States.
