Vi was born in New Mexico, married there to Paul "Jay" Edwin Jones and raised 5 children. She moved to Bakersfield, CA were she and Jay divorced. She re-located to Fresno, CA where she worked as a nurse and re-married there to Marvin Grice. They did not have an children. They re-tired to Willow Creek, CA and Bremerton, WA. After the death of Marvin, she went back to Bakersfield and lived out the rest of her years with her Granddaughter Lynda Jones.
