Ardella Mary Ann Kleman, 50, died early Wednesday morning in her Route 7 home. Born in Leipsic, Ohio on May 21, 1930, she was the daughter of Frank S. and Mary (Hermiller) Schroeder.
On June 9, 1956, she married James L. Kleman who preceeded her in death on March 27, 1979.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joann Ray of Route 7; two sons, Melvin A., at home, and Kenneth R., 2290 Baltimore Road; two sisters, Mrs. Joe (Esther) Fuerst and Mrs. Lawrence (Margaret) Palte, both of Columbus Grove; six brothers, Ambrose, Andrew, John and August Schroeder, all of Leipsic, and Herman and Stephen Schroeder, both of Ottawa; five half-brothers: Richard Schroeder of Leipsic, Everett Schroeder of Petaluma, Calif., Linus Schroeder of Fontana, Calif., and Sextus and Herbert Schroeder, both of Toledo; and one grandchild.
She had lived in Defiance the past 8 years and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
A funeral mass will be held at ll a rn. Saturday at St. Mary’s and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at Mast & Mock Funeral Home beginning at 7 p.m. tonight. A scripture wake will be held at the funeral home at 8 p.m Friday.
