A native of Indiana, he moved to California 33 years ago and lived in Palo Alto for many years before moving to Walnut Creek eight years ago. He was employed as a general agent for a San Francisco insurance company until his retirement.
He was a member of the San Francisco General Agents Association Commonwealth Club and Sons of the American Revolution.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Florence Wiedemann of Walnut Creek; a daughter Mrs. Carolyn Reller of Palo Alto; a son, Theodore Wiedemann of San Mateo and five grandchildren.
Funeral services at the Grace Presbyterian Church in Walnut Creek. Interment at Alta Mesa Cemetery.
